Keeper 03:18
I won't see you; I won't see you fall I won't hear you calling out my name If you want me to listen, you have to make more sense If you want me to care, you have to be someone worth caring for I can't be your keeper And I can't be your friend You won't hear me; you won't hear me leave The door will shut before you even look to find out what is going on If you want me to listen, you have to make more sense If you want me to care, you have to be someone worth caring for I can't be your keeper And I can't be your friend

The Solution 00:48
The solution to the problem which you have not yet encountered won't be simple if you think it will then you will be confounded I would recommend you think it through for several more hours for you don't want to end up looking like a bloody fool it's a messed up situation when you cannot find the answer from your usual confidant nor your occasional advisor I would say you should investigate research and seek some answers to avoid the chance of looking like an ignorant sod your present situation will be further complicated by the fact we need the answer before you can hear the question I would recommend you sit right down before you try to solve it for there's nothing more embarrassing than falling on your arse.

From an inappropriate angle At my first glance I knew From an inappropriate angle I made my vows that I would always love you You stood out on the balcony And what light from yonder window shone You gazed right at me And said, "Wherefore art thou standing in my garden?" You took out a restraining order and called me a peeping tom

Did you know Bigfoot runs a bar? It's been his lifelong dream Thinks it makes him popular Bigfoot what were you thinking? Bigfoot wears a good disguise The hunters never know it's him Shaves of half his facial hair Says he's trying to grow a beard There is a monster in the bar It isn't the one we'd hoped for There is a monster in the bar It's the one we've always known Tryhard always takes a booth He doesn't like to be seen He's hiding nearly all the time Look what we've done to him The exhibitionista arrive They come here every night Tryhard tries hard to catch their eye But they just shrug him off There is a monster in the bar It isn't the one we'd hoped for There is a monster in the bar It's the one we've always known We play murderer in the dark And never catch the culprit There is a monster in the bar It picks us off One by one by one by one by one Bigfoot used to be a star In all the magazines Now he just runs his bar And tries to fend off the limelight

There's a clown in Northampton Holding Balloons He stands outside houses Staring in at you He's probably quite lonely Socially awkward Looking what his hobby is He's probably quite bored And really would we all be so scared of clowns But for Tim Curry killing children in a fictional town (it didn't really happen) There's a clown in Northampton Holding Balloons He stands outside houses He just wants to be friends with you

I know it hurts when you see me around I know you can't help feeling blue I know it hurts when you see me around I know that it hurts 'cause I feel it too I know you cry when you're on your own I know you feel like some kind of fool I know you cry when you're on your own I know that you cry 'cause I'm crying too I know you want to find some peace of mind I know you want somehow to pull through I know you want to find some peace of mind I know what you want. It's what I want too I know it hurts when you see me around I know you can't help feeling blue I know it hurts when you see me around I know that it hurts 'cause I feel it too

about

This is the first of 12 monthly EPs I intend to release in 2014. I decided January was a month of recovery, so acoustic songs seemed appropriate.
