Steffi met Dennis Out in Hong Kong She said, "Do you like tennis?" He said, "D'you want to hear a song?" They ordered Thai food from a beachfront cafe And the world said, "Faster, faster, faster." They opened a Jamaican takeaway And served burgers to the tourists Steffi makes great curried goat And Dennis makes great jerk sauce People like to eat in their beachfront cafe And the world said, "Faster, faster, faster." Dennis died and Steffi wept And the tourists mourned the loss Of the jerk sauce on their burgers And the fact their curried goat was Tainted with Steffi's tears And the world said, "Faster, faster, faster."

There's a song you used to sing me when I was a child And every word seemed to be another lullaby But the years roll on And I hear that song And it doesn't feel like it used to feel Yeah, the years roll on And I hear that song And it doesn't comfort me anymore There's a story, you used to tell me as I fell asleep About a beast, a monster who was killed by a prince But as I've grown older When I hear that tale And I wonder what the beast did wrong Did he fall in love With the prince's crush Was it all a tragedy in the end? There's a song you used to sing me when I was a child And every word seemed to be another lullaby But the years roll on And I hear that song And it makes me rethink the words once more It make me wonder Did they try to stop her When the baby fell out of the tree?

They liked to eat a lot of meat They liked it rare, they liked it well done, they liked it medium as well But when it started to go rancid, they got angry as hell They could refuse it, they could complain But they assumed this would be quite in vain So they all got together and avowed That rotten meat should never more be allowed They put a label on every cutlet To mark it as a recent bloodlet And then they put it into law From which no butcher could withdraw And you are going to be told What this ordinance was called It was the Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz, oh yeah Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz, oh yeah Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz, oh yeah Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz, oh yeah And so on and so forth...
